In 1998, the Angel Fund Grant was created to assist students whose families are in financial need.  Often, the educational opportunities for those children are challenged.  The Foundation Board of Directors knows how important it is for each student to be able to participate fully in the educational opportunities they are presented.  This Angel Fund makes it possible to level the playing field for all students.

Because of current economic conditions, for the 2009-10 school year, the Foundation provided $.80 per registered student, based on enrollment as of September 30th.  In January, we hope to receive matching funds from an anonymous donor to present to the buildings.  The total of the Angel Fund Grant is approximately $22,000 per year.

The use of the money is entirely at the discretion of the principal or program supervisor.  No student names are given to the Foundation, however a list of ways in which the money is spent is required by May 30th of the year.

As the years have gone by, the need has grown.  Some contributions from community members are dedicated by the donors to support the Angel Fund.

Principals and teachers have told us that they have seen very positive results since this fund has been available.  Parents and students have written notes of thanks for the opportunities made available to them through the Angel Fund.

Please see the list that indicates how some of the Angel Fund is used.
