Students and Teachers Achieving Academic Recognition and Success. 
The STA²RS Dinner.

Held in May of every year, this dinner is a celebration of the success and achievements of the top academic 10% of the North High and Tartan High students and their chosen teachers.

Those teachers and students, along with the students' parents, are guests of the 622 Education Foundation at the Prom Center in Oakdale, MN.

Community members, business representatives and friends of the Foundation purchase tables (tax deductible gifts) and are seated with the students and guests.  The evening consists of presentations by a student from each school, a parent, and a teacher. 

The Foundation presents each student with a $100 cash scholarship, and each teacher receives a restaurant gift certificate from their student.

An exciting evening of celebration, the glow of the students, delicious food, and a friendly ambiance makes this evening one to remember.
